I'm from out of town for work, Janice was bartending and fantastic. Service was stellar. I got the BBQ steak tips and they were above and beyond expectations, the food was awesome. Great value and would recommend this place to anyone!
Went here last week and their haddock was just perfect, very testy and sides were just the right portion. From the appetizer to the main dish they got everything out quick and service was great. Seems like they have redone the place from the last time i was here and looks great.
I was expecting a pub, I am blown away by their menu! My daughter and I were in Beverly for a few days. I was told to check out Garden City Pub. The building is tucked behind a strip mall. It's an interesting, low slung building with the stone faced exterior. We were greeted by a pleasant Maitre'd. The menu was much more than I expected. The food was nothing short of amazing. Our server was attentive, however there was one glitch. We ordered a cup of soup. Without checking with us, he brought two large bowls! At $14, it was a meal in itself. They don't serve cups of soup. The Artichoke Francoise! I think it should have been named Artichoke Francese, but nonetheless it was lemony and had a lovely light egg batter. The Eggplant Rollatini is the best over ever had! I have never seen or tasted anything as good. The prices are in line with what I expected. It's not a noisy sports pub, by any means.
Have been eating here for years. So glad the obnoxious male bartender is gone ! Not impressed with drink selection. Asked for a drink and the bartender must have been new. She has no idea what I was taking about. The food is great. My favorite is the eggplant parm. Wish they kept the stuffed mushrooms. They were a favorite. Please bring them back.
I got to say we really had a great experience here, the food was very good and the service was even better, our server Donna was a sweetheart. We got steak tips & baked scallops, top notch stuff. We will be back!!
We went here for fwith eight people to dinner this evening. Honestly , every meal was prepared perfect . Generous portions . Veal parm was awesome. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. This is a family run business with owner on premises. I have to say I will be back ! Great food. Give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed.
